Antenna Theory and Technique

Essential results have been achieved for large apperture, slotted wavegude antennas. Original approaches to the synthesis of such antennas have been proposed. Methods for an efficient control of the antenna beam pattern and for essential extension of their operational frequency bandwidth have been proposed [1, 2]. The theoretical advances have been used for the development of original X, Ku, and Ka-band antennas for airborn radar applications [3, 4].

R&D activities aimed on the development of efficient parabolic type Ka- and W-band antenas are also performed. Development and production of lens and mirrors for THz applications have been started as well [5].
