Obscuring Torus in AGN as a Vortex in the Radiation Flux
SRITP conference: Solitons, Collapses and Turbulence, June 12-16, Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel, pp.7 (2023)
V.M. Kontorovich
The influence of the radiation flux from the accretion disk on obscuring tori in active galactic nuclei is considered.
The inverse effect of torus gravity on the disk and the position of the region of broad emission lines is discussed.
It is shown that the latter can affect the values of masses of supermassive black holes in the centers of galaxies determined by the reverberation method.
