A novel Ku-band circular antenna array has been recently developed. The main beam of the antenna pattern is inclined from the antenna surface normal to reduce the radar cross section of the antenna in target direction. This paper describes an approach of the antenna design and optimization. Main characteristics of the antenna developed are presented in the paper along with the corresponding experimental results.
